Training for community volunteers spreads wings in Tamil Nadu

PG Scholars, Medical Officers and Assistant Professors of Sarada Krishna Homoeopathic Medical College, Kulasekharam volunteered to attend the 16 hour training programme for community volunteers recognized by Indian Association of Palliative Care held at Mother Anna Palliative Care Centre, Nagacode, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu.  21 scholars attended the training programme.

The programme was formally inaugurated by Mr. Mano Thankaraj, MLA, Padmanabhapuram. Chief Manager, Federal Bank, Kulasekharam Branch and Mr. Dileep, SEEDS, felicitated.

Classes were led by Shri K Radhakrishna Menon, Jose Pulimoottil, Mujeeb, Pradeep, Dr. Blessed Singh and Sr. Naveena.

Certificates were distributed to the volunteers at the valedictory function held on the second day of the programme.

The programme was ably supported by SEEDS, an NGO working for the Palliative Care Centre.
